  1. It seems strange that horse and buggy was a common mode of transportation in Washington DC well in to the 1900’s.

  2. On “Dedication of Francis Asbury statue”, I like the amplification system. It looks cartoonish.

  3. Observations about Pennsylvania-Avenue jpg

    All of the riders on horseback appear to be U.S. military.
    The bicycle riders are also in uniform.
    The line of horses is very orderly and is on either side of the vehicles, perhaps a funeral?
    Every pedestrian has stopped to face and watch the street.
    When I was a boy people would always stop for funerals going by, today not so much.
