Lincoln Contest for Students and Teachers

Abraham Lincoln

As you probably know, February 12th is Lincoln’s 200th birthday. To celebrate, the History Channel is running several contests for students and teachers.

Teachers are asked to submit Lincoln lesson plans. Students are to create Lincoln coin boxes or short films about Lincoln’s life.

Prizes include grants, Lincoln DVD sets, and special guest status at a Lincoln event in Washington DC.

All entries are due April 8th, 2009. There will be multiple winners for each contest.
