We Shall Remain

Dancing to Restore an Eclipsed Moon

In April, PBS will be airing a new American Experience miniseries called We Shall Remain. It is about the history of Native Americans and their epic struggle. The producers wanted to present the Native American story as central to our history. The series contains five 90 minute episodes.

The series blends documentary and feature film techniques. A variety of videos about the series are available on the PBS website, including a 25 minute series preview. It looks amazing.

The series starts on April 13th.

The five episodes are:
After the Mayflower
Tecumseh’s Vision
Trail of Tears
Geronimo
Wounded Knee
